The University of Mary Washington men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Haverford Invitational on Saturday.

Top performances for the men included Mike Atkinson finishing first in the 400 meters at 51.29, Nick Judy taking first in the pole vault at 13 feet, 5.25 inches; Nate Saint-Preux taking second in the long jump at 21 feet, 3.25 inches with Atkinson placing third at 21-0.75", Saint-Preux taking second in the triple jump at 43 feet, 10-.5 inches, and Allan Meyer taking fourth in the high jump at 5'10.75".

The women saw Michelle Sutherland take second place in the 400 meters at 1:01.30, and Samantha Montgomery finish first in the pole vault at 10 feet.

Both teams will return to action on February 17 when they will compete in the Capital Athletic Conference Championships in Fairfax, Va.
