George Fellman enters his second year as an assistant coach for the University of Mary Washington softball team. 

Coach Fellman’s most previous softball coaching experience includes: High School Varsity Head Coach for Stafford High School from 2019 until 2022; Travel Team Head Coach for Team Virginia-Fellman 16U/18U since 2021; 2021 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Travel Coaching Staff of the Year (South Region). 

Coach Fellman earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies at Liberty University in 2007.  In 2013, he retired from the Army in the rank of Sergeant Major with over 26 years of service and has worked at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since 2014.  Coach Fellman is married to Amy and has two daughters Kaylee and Jenna.
