Mary Washington senior first baseman MORGAN LAMON (Herndon, Va./Oakton) and Mary Washington freshman pitcher HANNAH OTTERMAN (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) were selected as the CAC Softball Athletes of the Week.

        Lamon is the CAC Softball Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks hitting .545 (12-for-22) with three doubles, two home runs, a walk, three runs scored and 11 RBI as UMW went 5-1 for the week.  Lamon had at least one hit and one RBI in all six games, and she contributed an extra base hit in five of the six contests.

        Otterman is the CAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks after earning three wins in three outings for the Eagles, who finished second in the regular-season standings.  Otterman allowed 13 hits, three walks and three earned runs while fanning 24 batters in three complete-game victories.  She also contributed four hits, two runs and an RBI for the Eagles.
