Mary Washington senior first baseman MORGAN LAMON (Herndon, Va./Oakton) and Mary Washington freshman pitcher HANNAH OTTERMAN (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) were selected as the CAC Softball Athletes of the Week.

        Lamon is the CAC Softball Player of the Week after knocking the ball around the diamond through the week with a .632 average (12-for-19) with four doubles, a triple, a walk, a stolen base, 10 runs scored and six RBI.  She had at least one hit in every game, scored at least one run in five games and had at least one RBI in five games.  She contributed a game-winning two-run double and a walk in the mid-week victory against nationally-ranked Christopher Newport.

        Otterman is the CAC Softball Pitcher of the Week award after posting a 3-0 record with a 0.82 ERA in three complete-game appearances, including a pair of CAC wins and a victory over 14th-ranked Christopher Newport.  In 17 innings, Otterman allowed three runs (two earned) and fanned 14.  She held CNU to one earned run on five hits and one hit while fanning four and threw a two-hit shutout against Wesley.  At the plate, she added a single, double and walk, two runs scored and three RBI in eight appearances at the plate.
