
The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team, fresh off its Coast-to-=Coast Athletic Conference championship performance, has climbed to 17th in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association NCAA Division III poll. The Eagles will square off with Penn State Harrisburg in NCAA Tournament first round action on Friday in Cleveland, Ohio.
UMW is ranked fifth in the Atlantic South region, and seniors Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese are ranked 13th in the nation. They will compete in the NCAA doubles championship on May 23-25 in St. Louis, Mo.
