The 21st ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to #23 North Carolina Wesleyan College on Wednesday afternoon at the Hegmann Family Tennis Center. The Eagles slip to 12-6 on the season.
The Eagles gained a pair of victories in doubles. Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese scored an 8-3 win at one doubles over Diego Segovia and Albert Sitwell. At three, Evan Fisher and Trevor Rein gained an 8-1 win over Rodrigo Montes and Shori Nishizoe. The Bishops scored wins at all six singles flights.
UMW will return to action on Saturday, when the Eagles visit #18 Johns Hopkins University at 1:00 pm.
