UMW Men's Tennis Falls to Haverford on Sunday, 6-3

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Haverford College in Towson, Md., on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles slip to 8-9 on the season.

In doubles, UMW jumped ahead with a pair of victories - Rishi Charan Shankar and Andrew Watson were victorious at one, 8-3, and Brock Ladehoff and Peter Leese won at two, 8-6. In singles, the Eagles scored a point at five, as Andrew Cooper gained a 6-4, 6-2 victory.

The Eagles will return to action next weekend at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament in Newport News, Va.
