#34 UMW Men's Tennis Falls at #17 Kenyon, 5-3, on Friday Evening

The 34th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 5-3 decision at 17th ranked Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. The Eagles fall to 6-5 on the season.

In doubles, UMW gained a pair of points, as Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese gained an 8-5 victory at one, and Artis Hart and Andrew Cooper gained an 8-3 win at three.

In singles, Charan Shankar scored UMW's point, with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory at one over Thomas Kallarakal.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, when they visit Carnegie Mellon at 3:00 p.m.
