The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the seventh week of the 2022 spring tennis season. Salisbury's Veronica Cuellar earned C2C Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week accolades, while Mary Washington Moses Hutchison claimed C2C Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors.

MEN'S TENNIS: Moses Hutchison - Mary Washington

Eagles' senior Moses Hutchison swept through singles and doubles wins this weekend, as No. 22 Mary Washington topped No. 40 Christopher Newport, 9-0, and 17th ranked Carnegie Mellon, 8-1. Hutchison, the sixth-ranked player in the Atlantic South region, topped eighth-ranked Ryan Macy of CNU, 6-1, 6-3, on Friday, then topped 11th ranked Brandon Aprill of Carnegie, 6-4, 6-1, on Saturday. In doubles, Hutchison and Andrew Watson, ranked first in the region, stopped fourth ranked Macy and Alec Strause of CNU, 8-3, and Jonathan Nottingham and Michael Fourchy of CMU, 8-1. Hutchison and Watson are 10-2 this spring, and have won six straight.
