#15 UMW Men’s Tennis Tops #31 Stevens, 7-2, on Sunday

The fifteenth-ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team topped thirty-first ranked Stevens Institute of Technology, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon in Fredericksburg, VA. The Eagles improve to 3-0 on the season.

In doubles action, Moses Hutchison and Michael Fleming took a win at the one spot with a score of 8-4. Priyan DeSilva and Andrew Watson picked up a win at three doubles as they won 8-7. Stevens won at two doubles with a score of 8-7.

Hutchison won at one singles 6-3, 6-3 and then Fleming took an easy win at three by winning 6-1, 6-0. Watson won at four with a score of 6-3, 6-4. Cole Tecce got a win at five singles at 6-1, 6-1 and DeSilva won at six with a score of 6-3, 6-3.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday as they will travel to Orlando, Fl. over spring break and take on the College of Charleston at 3 p.m.
