Junior Brandon Griffin tested top seeded Mike Buxbaum for three sets, but fell, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-3, in the semifinals of the ITA Regional Championship on Monday at the Battleground. The match, which took three hours to complete, was tightly contested throughout.

Buxbaum will advance to the championship this afternoon.
