The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team found itself down after doubles play, but roared back for a thrilling win over the Eagle alumni on Saturday to kick off the spring season.

The alumni built a strong lead after doubles play, winning five of seven sets played. But in singles action the current team responded with wins in seven of 10 matches for a 9-8 win.

The Eagles will host Bridgewater College at 11 am and George Mason university at 4 pm on Sunday, February 10.
