#25 UMW Men's Tennis Falls at #3 Emory, 6-3

The 25th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at third-ranked Emory University on Saturday in a matchup of nationally-ranked squads.

The Eagles charged ahead in doubles, winning two of three flights. Kaleb Nguyen and Tyler Carey won at two, 8-5, and Alex Blakhin and David Lnding-Johansson won at three, 8-6.

In singles, UMW gained a point as Carey won, 7-5, 7-5, at one singles. The Eagles return to action on April 14 when they host Washington College at 10:30 a.m. and visit Wesley College at 4:00 p.m.
