Mary Washington senior Kaz Murata (Nashville, Tenn., Saddlebrook Prep (Fla.) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after leading the 18th-ranked Eagles to a pair of wins Saturday. After winning at No. 1 singles against CAC rival Hood, Murata gained a straight-sets win at No. 2 singles against 25th-ranked Washington & Lee. Murata also paired with Sam Wichlin for a victory at No. 1 doubles as the Eagles downed the Generals by a 6-3 margin.
