#23 UMW Men's Tennis Edged by #9 Carnegie Mellon, 5-4
The 23rd ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to ninth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday at the Battleground. The Eagles fall to 5-9 overall.

The Eagles opened the match by winning at one and two doubles, with Kaz Murata and Evan Goff winning at one, 8-5, and Brian Hope and Andrew Frisk winning at two, 8-3. Freshman Sam Wichlin won at one singles in three sets, and Murata won at two singles in three sets as well for the Eagles' four points.

Mary Washington will visit Christopher Newport University on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
