#19 UMW Men's Tennis Falls to Richmond, 5-2
FREDERICKSBURG, VA - The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Division I University of Richmond on Thursday night, dropping their third straight match to open the season against Division I opponents.

The Eagles picked up a win at three doubles as Riley Baver and Will Apperson won, 8-4, but dropped the doubles point by falling at one and two. UMW picked up singles wins as freshman Brian Hope won at five, 7-5, 6-1, and Will Apperson won at six, 6-3, 6-3, in moving to 3-0 in singles on the year.
