UMW Men's Swimming Falls at Gettysburg, 170.5-91.5, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team dropped a 170.5-91.5 decision at Gettysburg College on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles slip to 6-3 on the season in dual meets.

The Eagles' biggest highlight came in the 200 yard freestyle relay, as Kai Green, Thomas Leckrone, Logan Dewalt, and Ellis Winfree finished first, with a time of 1:26.70. The 400 medley relay of Paul Datovech, Caleb Smietana, Green, and Kolin Hoffman finished second, at 3:39.00, as did Hoffman in the 200 freestyle, at 1:46.75. Datovech took second in the 100 backstroke at 54.70, and Aidan Deege tied for second in the 100 breast at 1:00.94.

Jakob Robinette took second in the 200 butterfly at 2:00.57, Winfree was second in the 50 free at 21.93, and Hoffman finished second in the 100 free at 48.38. Stephen Wallach was second in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:16.45), and Conrad Tan was second in the 200 IM at 2:01.19.

The Eagles will host Salisbury University next Saturday for Senior Day at 1:00 p.m.
