
The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team remained unbeaten in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday, defeating York College on the road, 169-93.
Noah Carpenter put the Eagles in the win column with a win in the 1000 yard freestyle at 10:05.18, and Kolin Hoffman followed with a victory in the 200 yard freestyle at 1:46.56. Bradley Torrington took first in the 200 yard butterfly at 1:57.71, and Garrett Ross won the 50 free at 21.04, a new pool record.
Brian Harnish won the 100 freestyle with a pool record time of 47.23, Austin Farrar took first in the 200 backstroke at 1:58.22, and Carpenter won the 200 breaststroke at 2:13.85. Farrar won the 500 free at 4:56.78, and Carpenter won for the third time in the 200 IM at 1:59.07. The 200 free relay of Harnish, Matthew Scott, Sam McKey, and Ross took first at 1:25.57, with a pool record time.
The Eagles will compete in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on November 22-24.
