University of Mary Washington senior Dallas Tarkenton finished in fourth place in the 100 yard butterfly on Thursday night at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in Shenandoah, Tx. The senior from Richmond, Va., swam to a time of 48.06, which was .26 better than his season-best morning prelim time.

Tarkenton, seeded fourth entering the championships, swam the third fastest time in prelimiaries, with a time of 48.32, cutting .3 off his season best time.
