
The University of Mary Washington men's swim team opened the Gettysburg College Invitational on Friday night with some solid reults, led by an NCAA provisional cut from senior All-American Dallas Tarkenton.
Kenyon Huber-Wilker finished third in the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:07.12, and then Tarkenton won the 200 butterfly with a provisional cut time of 1:51.40, winning the race by nearly five full seconds. Freshman Austin Farrar capped the night with a second place finish in the mile, with a time of 16:28.71.
The 400 free relay finished third at 3:10.13, with the relay consisting of Tarkenton, Garrett Ross, Jake Schroth, and Tyler Gimple.
The meet continues on Saturday with a pair of sessions.
