The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams swept past Frostburg State University and Marymount university on Saturday in frostburg, Md., to remain unbeaten in Capital Athletic Conference action in advance of the CAC Championship in two weeks. The women topped the Bobcats, 79-16, and the Saints, 78-16, and the men topped FSU, 79-14, and MU, 77-17.

The women saw wins from the 200 meter medley relay of Catherine Perrin, Hannah Hagy, Allison Martin and Ashley Walnut at 2:11.37; Walnut in the 800 freestyle at 9:56.60; Maddie Carinci in the 200 freestyle at 2:22.06; Stephanie Hallock in the 50 free at 28.44 and the 100 butterfly at 1:10.65; Abby Cox in the 200 IM at 2:32.92 and the 100 freestyle at 1:02.14; Catherine Perrin in the 100 backstroke at 1:12.99; Martin in the 400 freestyle at 5:03.66; Hagy in the 100 breast at 1:20.05; and the 200 free relay of Walnut, Cox, Riley Scalzo, and Hallock at 1:56.78.

The men won every race but one, with wins coming from the 200 medley relay of Vince Dunn, Alex Anderson, Tom Rinaldi, and Dan McGuire at 1:55.28; Zach Eisig in the 800 freestyle at 9:09.52 and the 200 IM at 2:21.60; Andrew Garofolo in the 200 freestyle at 2:03.38 and the 400 freestyle at 4:24.62; Andrew Cole in the 50 free at 25.96; Vance Solseth in the 100 freestyle at 56.07; Anderson in the 100 backstroke at 59.86 and the 100 breaststroke at 1:07.65; and the 200 free relay of Cole, McGuire, Jack McHugh, and Garofolo at 1:42.40.

Both teams will be idle next weekend in advance of the CAc Championships in St. Mary's City, md., on February 15-17.
