Billy Norfolk (Fairfax, Va., Chantilly) swam a lifetime best in the 200 yard butterfly in the morning preliminaries, and bettered that mark by a second in the evening finals at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships on Friday in Knoxville, Tenn. Norfolk, who swam a PR 1:50.62 in the morning, came back to swim a 1:49.75 at night, taking ninth place to gain All-America honors for the second time this week.
Senior Stephen Clendenin will compete on Saturday in the final day of the championships.
