UMW Sending Clendenin, Norfolk to NCAA Swimming Championships
The University of Mary Washington will send two swimmers - senior Stephen Clendenin (Ashburn, Va., Home Schooled) and junior Billy Norfolk (Fairfax, Va., Chantilly) -  to the 2011 NCAA Division III National Championships on March 23-26, 2011 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Clendenin, a 2010 All-American, will compete in the 200 and 400 yard individual medley as well as the 200 yard backstroke, while Norfolk, who is advancing to the championships for the first time, will compete in the 500 freestyle as well as the 100 and 200 yard butterfly, a pair of events in which he was undefeated this season.
