UMW Swim Teams Sweep St. Mary's in CAC Dual Meet
The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams remained undefeated in Capital Athletic Conference action by sweeping a dual meet from St. Mary's College on Friday evening at Goolrick Natatorium. The Eagle men won, 127-70, and the women won, 121-84.

For the UMW women, winners included the 200 yard medley relay (Scott, DeSmit, Lesiuk, Crockett) at 1:53.33; Lindsay Ancellotti in the 200 freestyle (2:01.40) and the 500 freestyle (5:26.43); Elizabeth Lewan in the 50 freestyle (26.52); Cameron Figuers in the 400 IM (4:43.32); Adriana Lesiuk in the 100 freestyle (55.72); Sarah Crockett in the 200 backstroke (2:11.99); and the 200 free relay (Lesiuk, Boyar, DeLuca, Lewan) at 1:44.27).

The Eagle men saw wins from the 200 medley relay (1:41.82); Nick Eckhoff in the 1000 freestyle (10:09.10) and the 100 freestyle (48.29); Billy Norfolk in the 200 free (1:48.95) and the 200 butterfly (1:55.27); Austin Clark in the 50 free (22.23); Stephen Clendenin in the 200 IM (1:58.42) and the 500 freestyle (4:56.37); Cesare Zannoni in the 200 backstroke (2:07.40); and the 200 free relay (1:30.74).

The UMW men improve to 5-2 overall and the women move to 7-1. Both teams are 4-0 in CAC meets, and will visit Marymount University with Salisbury University in a CAC dual-dual meet at 2:00 p.m.
