The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams capped a strong weekend against NCAA Division I competition at the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational on Saturday in College Park, Md.

Junior Sarah Crockett (Toano, Va., Lafayette) finished 12th in the 100 freestyle with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 52.32, her fourth individual NCAA cut of the weekend. Sophomore Megan DeSmit (Bridgewater, Va. , Turner Ashby) finished 10th in the 200 yard breaststroke with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:22.53.

The Eagles will be idle until their weeklong Florida training trip over winter break.
