No. 2 UMW Men's Soccer Downs Stevenson in First Game Under the Lights, 3-0

For the first time under the lights at the Battleground Field Complex, the No. 2 Mary Washington men's soccer team beat down Stevenson handedly, 3-0.

The Eagles launched a barrage of shots at the Mustangs' keeper -- 30 to be exact with 19 on net. And they only surrendered four total shots defensively.

After a scoreless first half, Carter Berg netted the Eagles' game-winner in the 53rd minute off of a feed from Josh Kirkland. Just 10 minutes later, Berg and Kirkland would team up again for Berg's second goal of the night -- this one with a wide open net with only the keeper to beat.

Nelsar Castillo added UMW's third goal of the night with a feed from Berg in the 67th minute.

UMW recorded its fourth shutout of the season, thanks to Freddy Rogers' 80 clean minutes in goal, followed by Tristan Kickbush's final 10 after being subbed in for Rogers. 

At home, Mary Washington has outscored its opponents, 11-0 in three games.
