The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the first week of the 2022 men's soccer season. Mary Washington senior forward Josh Kirkland earned C2C Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Josh Kirkland, Mary Washington

Kirkland had a historic start to the 2022 season, scoring two goals in a 3-2 season-opening victory over North Carolina Wesleyan, and then scoring a school record-tying four goals and adding an assist in a 7-1 win over Guilford on Saturday. Kirkland, last season's C2C Offensive Player of the Year, has scored six goals in two games, after netting seven goals all of last season. His four goals against the Quakers were the first four of the game and came in a span of 15:30 of game time. He ties the school mark set by Tony Trepal in 1992 and equaled in 1999 by Mike Gutzler, both against Gallaudet.
