Justin Carey Named CAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Carey assisted on one score and added the game-winning goal in a 5-1 win at St. Mary's in No. 7 UMW's lone contest of the week. He has scored five goals and added two assists on the season, with two game winners. Mary Washington is ranked seventh in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches Association, their highest ranking since 1997.

Balogun tallied seven points on three goals and an assist in a 1-1 week for St. Mary's. In a 4-0 shutout win over Catholic, Balogun notched career-bests of two goals and five points for the second time this season. He then scored the Seahawks' lone goal in a loss to No. 7 Mary Washington. Balogun leads the conference in goals (10) and points (25) while ranking third in assists (5).

Brookhart recorded his seventh shutout of the season in Salisbury's lone game of the week. He made three saves in a scoreless draw against Penn State Harrisburg, extending the Sea Gulls' unbeaten streak to 10 games.

Keith Witherell | York | Jr. | M
Witherell notched a pair of goals in York's win against Southern Virginia on Saturday. He opened the scoring in the 11th minute as he scored off a pass from Isiah Dorsey. He made it 2-0 Spartans in the 66th minute as he scored off a pass from Pat Harkanson. Witherell finished the week with two goals as he is returning to action after missing three games due to injury. He has seven points on three goals and one assist.
