Ken Kurtz Named CAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Kurtz earned pair of victories in net over the weekend, allowing one goal in 160 minutes of action while making seven saves and posting one shutout. He opened the year with four saves in the Eagles' 2-1 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan, before stopping three shots in 69:59 minutes in a 5-0 shutout over Hampden-Sydney.

Mackie opened his final collegiate season with two goals in Frostburg's 3-0 shutout of Saint Vincent. Mackie earned all-tournament honors for his efforts.

Joey Arman | Penn State Harrisburg | So. | F
Aman scored three goals for the Lions in their first two outings of the season. He scored on a penalty kick against Bryn Athyn, helping the Lions to a 6-0 victory. Against Farmingdale State, Aman scored in the 27th and 30th minutes in route to the Lions' 4-0 victory.

Khalid Balogun | St. Mary's | Jr. | F
Balogun netted St. Mary's lone goal of the season-opening weekend as the Seahawks posted a 0-0-2 mark.

Cameron Ament | Salisbury | So. | M
Ament tallied two assists in Salisbury's 3-0 victory over Moravian on Saturday afternoon. The sophomore's two helpers propelled the Sea Gulls to their first win of the season.

Billy Bridegum | York | So. | GK
Bridegum surrendered just two goals in 180 minutes of actions for the Spartans this week. Bridegum played well against Eastern as the only goal he allowed was a penalty kick in the first half. He notched three saves in the 1-0 loss. He followed that up with another one goal allowed in 90 minutes with the goal coming on another penalty kick.
