
The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team fell on the road at Dickinson College, 3-1, on Wednesday night in Carlisle, Pa., to fall to 5-2 on the season.
Dickinson grabbed the lead at 15:09 on a score from Will Bracken, and maintained the lead through the first half. The Red Devils scored at 53:58 to up the lead to 2-0 on a goal from Matthew Edmonds, and added another at 80:01.
The Eagles spoiled the shutout in the final seconds, as Lucas Turney scored on a Mitchell Williams assist.
Mary Washington held a 19-9 advantage in shots, and also led in corner kicks, 4-2. Matt Spencer had a pair of saves for the Eagles, while Jeremy Palcan had nine stops for the Red Devils.
The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they open Capital Athletic Conference play at Marymount University at 7:30 p.m.
