The University of Mary Washington men's rugby team dropped a 34-17 decision to visiting Army on Saturday at the Battleground. UMW came up against a very strong Army side today and could not find the try line. UMW started out looking strong but the discipline and fitness of army soon took over. The Eagles made a few mental mistakes that Army quickly capitalised on and came away with points. In the second half UMW's subs made a big impact but was too little to late. Army held on to win 34-17.
