Men's Rugby Rolls Terps, 90-0

Men's Rugby Rolls Terps, 90-0

UMW coach Hennie van Zyl chose nine different starters from last week vs Southern VA as the team traveled to College Park MD to play the Univ of MD squad. The new starters did not disappoint in any way. Mother's Rugby cruised to a 90-0 victory over MD in the most perfect rugby weather imaginable.

Freshman wing Lewis Naylor scored 4 try's in a variety of fashions and flyhalf's Aidan Gallagher and Jamie Cooper converted everything in front of them. Grant Kettner played a strong game out of the back at fullback, scoring twice. Freshman Stuart Duncan found the try zone early and late to frame a nice day from all his friends.

UMW improves to 3-0 in the Chesapeake and has a well-earned bye week for fall break next week. They then host always tough VT at home on the 16th of October.

See you at the field!
