UMW hosted North Carolina State University Saturday in some seriously hot and humid conditions at the Battlefield. Led by flankers and men of the match Lloyd Stephens and Tobey Barnfield-Lee, they shook off a few extended first and second half slumps to cruise to a 64-0 victory. 

Even though the flankers physical play and tackling made them the men of the match, it would be hard to single out any one player in UMW's open field play - the try's were spread evenly through the backs and unselfish play was the rule. Freshman Bill Tamani, Conn Foster and Sebastian Schefferman finished well and seniors Jose L. Reyes, Aidan Gallagher, Joseph Ritter, and Seamus Brennan were steady all day.

UMW travels down to play a very strong Southern VA team next week in Buena Vista VA.
