UMW Men's Lacrosse Picked Sixth in CLC Preseason Coaches' Poll

The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team has been picked sixth in the 2024 Coastal Lacrosse Conference preseason coaches' poll.

The Eagles, coming off a 7-11 campaign in 2023, welcome back preseason All-America selection Keegan Shipe at long stick midfield. He highlights a group of returnees that includes all-conference faceoff man Jacob Fowler, as well as returning starters in goalie Riley Green, junior attacker Henry Moag (29 goals), sophomore attacker David Votapek (24 goals), defenders Nathan Turney, Ethan Mollman, Balin Galbraith and Bryce Ridge, fifth year leaders Jackson Popeck and Ethan Castleman.

The Eagles open the season on February 10 against Randolph-Macon College at 6:00 p.m. at the Battleground.
