Mary Washington, which edged York for fourth place in the Capital Athletic Conference standings to gain the home game against the Spartans in the opening round of the conference playoffs, picked up three positions on the All-CAC second team for sophomore attack John Bohlinger (Westfield, N.J./Westfield), junior midfielder Sean Dacey (Round Hill, Va./Loudoun Valley) and sophomore short stick midfielder Joey Marson (Chantilly, Va./Chantilly).

Bohlinger led the Eagles in scoring with 42 points, on 26 goals and 16 assists. Dacey had a team-high 27 goals as well as 32 points, and Marson had 12 goals and nine assists and a team-high 45 ground balls.

It was the first All-CAC awards for all three Eagles and the second-straight year UMW placed three players on the all-star squad.
