University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse senior Ryan Kleman (Fairfax, VA, Robinson) has been named a 2011 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-America, as wwas announced on Thursday. Kleman, who led the Eagles to a school record-tying 11 wins this season, is the first Scholar All-American in program history. In addition, he is UMW's nominee for the Capital Athletic Conference Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and was the starting goalie in the Senior North-South All-Star Game last week, posting six saves in gaining the win in goal.
