Sophomore guard Dorian Davis scored 18 points and senior guard Zack Blue added 15 in leading the University of Mary Washington men's basketball team to a 69-52 victory at Bridgewater College on Monday night in Bridgewater, Va. The Eagles improve to 7-4 on the season.

UMW broke open a tight contest after halftime,shooting 50% from the floor (15-30), in outscoring the hosts by 16 in the second 20 minutes.

Davis made 6-8 shots, including 3-4 three point attempts, en route to 18 points, while Blue connected on 8-13 free throws on the way to 15 in all. Daniel Peterson added 11 points, and ied Blue wih six rebounds for the team lead.

UMW shot 47.1% from the floor (24-51), making 5-9 three point tries and 16-25 free throws. Bridgewater shot 25.4% (16-63), including 6-33 from three point range and 14-17 from the free throw line. 

The Eagles will be back in action on December 29 at Emory University a 4:00 p.m.
