For the third-straight poll to open the season, the Mary Washington men's basketball team recieved votes in the lastest D3hoops.com poll as released by the publication on Monday evening.

The Eagles recieved six points in the lastest release after earning three last week. The Eagles took down Southern Virginia on the road, 73-48, before edging out Marymount at home, 52-49, on Saturday afternoon. They're off to a 6-2 start with each of their losses coming by one point.

Mary Washington has victories over N.C. Wesleyan, Hood, Lynchburg, Buffalo State and Rowan.

The Eagles travel down to Randolph-Macon (recieved votes) for a matchup Tuesday night and then host No. 3 Guilford for a matchup on Friday at 7 p.m.

The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly. Points are awarded on a 25-24-23-22-etc. basis.
