UMW Men's Basketball Picked Second in C2C Preseason Coaches Poll

The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team ranked second in the 2023-24 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. The Eagles gained 21 points, including one second place vote.

Mary Washington will look to build on the success of last year's 20-9 team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, and leading the charge will be four returning starters, including consensus All-America forward Greg Rowson (16.9 PPG). Also back for head coach Marcus Kahn will be C2C Defensive Player of the Year Zack Blue, as well as starters Cameron McCravy, Daniel Peterson, and C2C Rookie of the Year Dorian Davis. Transfers Trey Hillman and Zyon Grant will look to fill the void left from graduated seniors Da'Shawn Cook and Emmanuel Aghayere.
