University of Mary Washington senior forward Greg Rowson added another award to his lengthy list on Wednesday, as he was named to the Virginia Sports Information Direcotrs All-State College Division First Team.
Rowson, the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year, led the Eagles with 16.9 PPG and 6.3 rebounds per contest. He shot 45.3% from the field, including 34.0% from three-point range.
Rowson, a first team all-conference selection and second team All-America by the NABC, capped his outstanding career with 1,284 points, good for 10th place in school history, despite playing just 78 games. He became just the second All-America selection from Mary Washington, joining all-time career leading scorer, who achieved the honor back in 1986-87.
