The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team has been selected second in the 2022-23 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference preseason coaches' poll, released today.

Mary Washington welcomes back a solid nucleus supported by a strong group of newcomers, as the Eagles will look to return to the conference championship in 2022-23. Heading the list of returnees is senior guard DaShawn Cook, the team's top returning scorer, who poured in 12.1 PPG a season ago. In the post, the Eagles will look to returnees Emmanuel Aghayere and Daniel Peterson, who netted 7.1 PPG and a team-high 8.2 rebounds per contest in his first collegiate season a year ago. All-conference forward Greg Rowson returns after missing last season with injury, and will look to help lead the offense.
