The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the third week of the 2021 men's basketball season. Mary Washington senior guard Anias Saunders earned C2C Men's Basketball Player of the Week accolades after a big win over Lynchburg.

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Anias Saunders - Mary Washington

Mary Washington senior guard Anias Saunders continued his hot shooting this week, as he scored 26 points while shooting 10-17 from the floor in a 68-65 win over Lynchburg. Saunders made 6-13 three-point attempts and also added seven rebounds and a pair of assists in the win, in which he scored eight straight points early on to get the Eagles close, and 10 of 15 points in a 15-4 run which put UMW ahead by 11 in the second half.
