The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team will face Springfield College in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday on the campus of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
The Eagles (22-5) defeated Christopher Newport University, 65-48, on Saturday for the program's second CAC Championship. Springfield enters with a 20-7 record and gained an at large bid after falling in the finals of the NEWMAC Conference tournament to MIT, 67-56.
In the other game on Friday, Randolph-Macon will host DeSales at 7:30 p.m. The second round game will be Saturday at 7:00 p.m., with that winner advancing to the Sweet 16.
