UMW Men's Basketball Falls to Kean, 64-52


The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team dropped a 64-52 decision to Kean University in the consolation game of the Johns Hopkins University Tournament in Baltimore. The Eagles fall to 4-6 on the season.

In a game in which the Eagles hot just 32% from the floor, no UMW player reached double figures in scoring. UMW held a 23-22 halftime advantage, but couldn't hold on in the second half.

The Eagles were led by Brandon Altmann (Vienna, Va., James Madison)'s eight points and eight rebounds, and Tad Dickman (Springfield, Va., Robert E. Lee), Rocky Ullah (Stafford, Va., Brooke Point), and Bart Reese (Herndon, Va., Oakton), who each scored seven points. Kean was led by Vinny Delpino's 16 points.

Mary Washington will visit Stevenson University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in a Capital Athletic Conference contest.
