The University of Mary Washington women's golf team opened its first ever tournament in 11th place after day one at the Washington & Lee Invitational on Monday in Lexington.

The Eagles shot a +112 on the day, led by sophomore Andrea Dill, who shot a +14 86. Emily Coppedge shot a +23 95, Madison McLean shot a +35 107, Natasha Greenwalt shot a +40 112, and Amanda Maskell shot a +36 113.

The tournament will conclude on Tuesday.
