Mary Washington sophomore Phillip Manceri was named the CAC Men's Golfer of the Week after placing second individually and leading the Eagles to a second-place team finish at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate on Friday and Saturday. Manceri finished the two days at two-under par, shooting 71-69 for a total of 140 to tie for second place overall. His 69 on Saturday was his first collegiate round in the 60s.

Four CAC teams competed last week, with all four competing at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate ... In the Gold Division, Mary Washington led the way in second place (576;+8), followed by Christopher Newport in eighth (591;+23), and York in a tie for ninth (591;+24) ... CNU junior David Rabil led the Captains to an eighth-place finish at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, tying for 10th individually with a one-over 143 (73-70). It marked the second top-10 finish of the year for Rabil ... Wesley was scheduled to play at the McDaniel Spring Invitational, but the tournament was postponed due to inclement weather ... York freshman Luke Fayocavitz led the Spartans at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, carding a two-day total of 146 to finish tied for 23rd. Fayocavitz fired a 74 on Friday and followed that with an even par 72 on Saturday. The 72 is one shot over his career best of 71 that he shot during the first round of the Montgomery Cup on Sept. 23. His two-day total of 146 is his lowest two round performance in his young Spartan career.
