UMW Men's Golf Places Second at Eagles Invitational; Bonte Ties for Medalist Honors

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished in second place at the second annual Eagle Invitational tournament at Augustine Golf Club in Stafford. Freshman Sebastien Bonte finished tied for first place in the two day event, carding a 73-73 146 (+4).

Sophomore Philip Manceri finished tied for 5th with a 77-73 150 (+8), while sophomore Jason Guintu and sophomore Ethan Kelly both tied for 15th with a two-day aggregate of 156 (+14). Austin Matz shot a +15 for the weekend, while Ravi Makam shot a +17, Edward Gleeson and Zach Kaylor each shot a +20, Peyton Crickman carded a +32, and Andrew Halmrast shot a +33.

The Eagles will return to action on March 23 at the Camp Lejeune Collegiate Invitational.
