The University of Mary Washington field hockey team has been picked third in the 2022 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
Mary Washington welcomes back past all-conference selections Emma Bernard, Annie Grace Louthan, Sydney Keating, and all-region choice Lauren Boucher for 2022. Bernard ranked among league leaders in scoring in her first season, with 13 goals, while Keating and Boucher will provide transition from the midfield, and Louthan will solidify the Eagle defense.
UMW will open the season on September 1 at home against Roanoke College at 4:30 pm.
