University of Mary Washington sophomore Emma Bernard (Fredericksburg, Va. / Chancellor) has been named as the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 5, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Bernard started her collegiate career by scoring a hat trick over the final ten minutes of regulation and 1:30 into overtime at Roanoke College, as her three scores eliminated a 2-0 UMW deficit to propel UMW to a 3-2 overtime victory.
