The University of Mary Washington has been picked to finish third in the 2021 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Field Hockey Preseason Poll. The rankings were based off the preseason Massey Ratings.

Fourth-year Mary Washington head coach Jamie Tierney will look toward senior leadership up the middle as the Eagles kick off the 2021 season. Midfielder Sydney Keating will look to continue as one of the top transition players at the midfield, while defenders Hannah Zengel and Caitlin Walker will provide leadership at defense. Senior Lydia Bryant will look to ignite an offense that will see many new players with key roles. 

The 2021 season kicks off on Wednesday (Sept. 1) and concludes with the C2C Field Hockey Championship taking place on November 3 & 6. Teams will be seeded based on head-to-head conference results following a single-round robin schedule.
